GREEN POWER
The Magazine of Renewable, Sustainable & Clean Energy

Solar - Photovoltaics - Wind - Hydro - Biomass - Microturbine - Hydrogen
Cogeneration - Geothermal - Energy Efficiency - Low Emissions

GREEN POWER, The Magazine of Renewable, Sustainable and Clean Energy, has been announced by Webcom Communications Corp. The publication will serve the growing industry in North America that is involved in energy and power from solar, photovoltaic, wind, hydro, biomass, microturbine, hydrogen, cogeneration, geothermal tidal & wave power and other low-emission, energy-efficient systems and technology.

The magazine will begin publication in May 2003. It will circulate to 20,000 management and technical professionals who are involved in developing, applying and using such energy sources and power systems in all market segments including commercial, industrial and residential.

"Renewable, sustainable and clean energy systems and technology have reached a new level of acceptance and interest in commercial and industrial markets in North America while continuing their growth in the residential market," said David Webster, president of Webcom Communications. "Until now, there hasn't been a trade journal that serves this growing industry in North America, encompassing all of the solutions available and serving the professional-level, business-to-business audience."

"This magazine is positioned to serve the information needs of operators of generation and distribution systems, buildings, facilities, plants, equipment and commercial developments in a wide variety of markets and industries. It will serve as an industry journal for management and technical professionals already involved in green power operations. It will also be a valuable information source for those who are considering the implementation of such systems for the future, keeping them up to date on the latest market developments and technology capabilities."

Readers will be technical and management professionals with organizations that generate, distribute or utilize renewable energy currently, or are considering doing so in the future. It will also circulate to dealers, design, engineering and service firms that serve the renewable energy market; manufacturers of renewable energy products and systems, and companies that integrate renewable energy technologies into their products.

"As with our other publications, this magazine's target audience is strictly professional-level," said Webster. "Our readers are responsible for ongoing operations and significant budgets in industry, utilities, defense, energy, natural resources, architecture, construction, real estate development and commercial markets. They are interested in implementing renewable energy solutions to replace, augment or expand existing energy generation and power utilization, as well as to serve new development."

At the same time, the magazine will provide a cost-effective way for suppliers of solar, wind, microturbine, biomass, cogeneration, hydrogen and other green energy products and services to reach key buyers across multiple, diverse industries throughout North America. The best trade publications help marketers reach their specialized prospects with a genuine value proposition and this magazine is designed to accomplish that mission, said Webster. "Vendors will find Green Power a valuable tool for reaching a large universe of these specialized buyers - the current customer base as well as future prospects, exposing their products and services to many new markets that they can't reach effectively now."

The magazine will cover the latest technology advancements, product developments, service capabilities, business, regulatory and market news about all aspects of the renewable, sustainable and clean energy marketplace. It will begin publication in May 2003 with a distribution of 20,000 copies in North America. It will be full-color, tabloid size. Like other Webcom publications, the magazine will have a companion internet portal providing an interactive online resource center for its audience. The website is www.GreenPowerMagazine.com.
